Founder and CEO
Bin Ren is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SigTech. Previously he was the Chief Investment Officer of the Systematic Investment Group (SIG) at Brevan Howard Asset Management where he managed multiple UCITS investment funds. Prior to that, Bin was a partner and Portfolio Manager at Decura Group, responsible for quantitative research and investment. He started his career at Barclays Capital as an equity exotics trader managing quantitative investment strategies. Before university Bin skipped two grades in school and won three first prizes in the Chinese National Olympiads for high school students, because of which he was exempted from the Chinese National College Entrance Examination.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the national gifted education program of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Bin was directly admitted with full scholarship to the PhD program for computer science at Cambridge University, UK. While there he researched the Xen virtual machine monitor that is used by Amazon as the foundation of the AWS cloud-computing platform.
David Comerford-Green is the General Counsel of SigTech and is responsible for the group's global legal and compliance function. Before joining SigTech in January 2022, David was the Director of Legal at Dext, a B2B SaaS platform offering bookkeeping and accountancy software solutions to accountancy firms and SMBs. During his time at Dext, David advised the business on its Series C fundraising, multiple M&A transactions and latterly its acquisition by Hg Capital. David qualified as a corporate lawyer at Mayer Brown and his legal career spans a broad range of financial institutions and other industries both in the UK and the Middle East. David holds a BA in History and Economics from the University of Manchester and subsequently attended the College of Law in London.
Stephen is an experienced technology professional and senior leader with over 25 years' experience across a broad range of sectors and technologies. He has led multiple, disparate teams across many regions and timezones with an emphasis on data, data technologies and cloud computing. Stephen is a mentor and coach and has a heavy focus on development and promotion from within existing teams and believes in a collaborative environment where innovation is supported and nurtured.
Stuart is VP, Quantitative Analytics at SigTech. Prior to joining SigTech, Stuart spent more than five years at Brevan Howard Asset Management as a Quantitative Analyst and Portfolio Strategist. During this time, Stuart worked on developing quantitative analytics and researching systematic trading strategies. Stuart has a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Oxford University, in the field of Quantum Information Theory.
VP, Global Head of Business Development
As VP of Business Development, David is responsible for both Product and Sales within SigTech. Having previously started his career as a professional tennis player, he has since worked in the Financial Markets for over 14 years, largely building successful trading solutions in the Fixed Income space. Most recently, he was Senior Director at CME Group, where he helped BrokerTec cement their place as market leaders in the Government Bond Cash and Repo space.
VP, Global Head of Marketing, General Manager US
Angela, VP of Marketing, brings over 20 years of leadership experience developing marketing and communication strategies and implementing go-to-market plans for tech, financial institutions, and fintech organizations. Prior to SigTech, she was Chief Marketing Officer for a digital asset institutional exchange start up. Angela hails from the Midwest, graduated from Butler University, has worked in NYC and London, and has two amazing kids, and a very rambunctious dog.
VP, Investor Solutions
Daniel Leveau is VP, Investor Solutions at SigTech. He is an experienced senior manager in the finance industry with previous roles as CEO, deputy head of asset management and head of portfolio management. From 2007 until 2012 he was a partner and deputy head of asset management at Wegelin & Co. Private Bank and was instrumental for the further development of the asset management division, while continuing to be the lead fund manager for an extensive range of equity products in the long-only, long/short and market neutral space managing up to CHF 5 bn.
Vincent is SigTech’s Delivery Director alongside working in the CEO’s Office. Vincent is responsible for the delivery, support and QA team working on strategies, AGILE methodology, coaching, etc. Prior to joining the company, Vincent has worked across roles across a multitude of FinTech, PayTech and consultancy companies including Trayport, Funding Circle UK, ENGINE and Sthaler.
Director of HR & Culture
Alex is Director of HR and Culture, alongside working in the CEO Office. Prior to joining, Alex started his career working for the then Shadow Secretary of State for Transport in the UK Parliament, but has since spent the last 8 years working across the Tech industry, including time at Apple, Uber and multiple other start-ups. Notably, Alex worked with Uber founder, Travis Kalanick, to build an international HR team and world-class culture at CloudKitchens.
Director of Strategy
As Director of Strategy, Dhruv is responsible for SigTech’s Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, and scaling the company’s Sales and Marketing functions. Prior to joining SigTech, Dhruv worked across Strategy and Business Development at 10x Banking, a London-based Fintech. During his time at 10x, Dhruv helped drive the company’s $187m series C fundraise. Dhruv started his career as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture Strategy, working with leading Commercial, Retail and Investment Banks on growth strategy, market-entry, digital transformation and other strategic challenges.
Director of Finance
Emma Pocklington is SigTech’s Finance Director. Previously, Emma was the Finance Manager/Controller for JRNI, a global appointment booking platform, helping the company scale across three continents and managed multiple rounds of fundraising through to Series C. Emma has extensive experience facilitating financial operations for multiple successful scale-up businesses throughout her career.
Sales & Product
Sam Forster is a member of the product management team at SigTech. He has previously held roles on both the buy-side and the sell-side, as a quantitative analyst, trader and structurer. Sam studied mathematics at Warwick and Cambridge and holds a CQF with distinction.
Estèphe Corlin is a Product Manager at SigTech. He previously worked in Schroders' quant equity fund, building out the fund's backtesting engine and research models. Estèphe started his career on the Schroders graduate scheme after completing a Masters in Materials Engineering from Imperial College London.
Sales Director - UK, Europe
Onur is a Sales Director at SigTech, covering the United Kingdom and Europe (excluding the Nordics). He spent more than 17 years at UBS, Barclays Global Investors, Bloomberg, IHS Markit and several start-ups, as a quantitative analyst, product manager and salesperson. He has a PhD from University of Michigan, BS & MSc degrees from METU in Mechanical Engineering and was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Cambridge before starting his finance career.
Sales Director - UK, Nordics, MENA, APAC
Geeta is a Sales Director at SigTech, covering the United Kingdom, the Nordics, MENA and APAC regions. She has over 17 years experience in a number of specialised sales roles at organisations like NASDAQ, Euroclear and Frost and Sullivan. Geeta has advised a number of start-ups across disciplines like marketing, sales strategy and market entry (including first mover advantage). She has also acted and produced feature films, music videos and adverts across geographies. She is currently an active Board Member on DJOEF (Danish Union of Lawyers and Economists). She has a Masters In Business, Culture and Languages from Copenhagen Business School and an undergrad degree from London College of Fashion.
Product Manager - North America
Guillermo is a Product Manager at SigTech. Prior to joining, Guillermo spent over 7 years at Bloomberg in several roles including their quant analytics team, Enterprise Data sales and eventually their product team. Guillermo has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.
Denton Paul is a Product Manager at SigTech. Denton received a Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in Data Science and Applied Statistics. Prior to joining, he worked at a commodities trading floor where he helped improve workflows by automating reporting and data scraping processes.
Sales Director - North America
Loren is Director, Sales in North America at SigTech. Prior to joining, Loren spent 10 years in fixed income at Assured Guaranty and Tradeweb before expanding into real-time short interest and rates at S3 Partners. During this time, she began the first two years of her career as a credit underwriter after which she transitioned her roles to a sales focus within the financial industry targeting bankers, FAs, PMs and quants. Loren graduated from LaSalle University.
SDR - UK
Jordan Perryman is a Sales Development Representative at SigTech. In 2021, Jordan completed his bachelors degree in Management Science at UCL and is now undertaking an IT Technical Sales apprenticeship. His role involves finding target prospects and nurturing them for the sales team, as well as running sales ops.
SDR - North America
Jacksir is Sales Development Representative at SigTech. Prior to joining, Jacksir has recently graduated college at University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. His role consists of building new business through various channels
